Blackpool
This is a wonderful example of very early poster advertising , which , even for those times was not backward in recognising that the weather was not always calm and sunny on this coast !!
It was commissioned for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railways in about 1900 .
The Liverpool Overhead Railway connected at Seaforth and Litherland to give a connection between Yorkshire and Liverpool.
