This is a 1926 Poster by the master painter – Fortunino Chevalier Matania who made something of a name for himself in nearby Southport by his slightly unusual lifestyle .The male figure in the foreground may well be a self portrait and one of the 3 ladies near to him may well be one of his very good female companions. The artwork is very similar to his famous posters of Southport .
