This is a 1948 BR( SR ) Poster continuing the advertising focus on Bournemouth by the new Railway Service Provider.

The Pier has undergone many rebuilds and upgrades over the years and today is a prominent town facility, though not without some controversy . The poster also shows the Pavillion Theatre and the swimming baths , all surrounded by lush parks and gardens , of which Bournemouth is justifiably proud.
