Bridlington
Three Friends
This is a 1935 Poster focusing on the glamorous social side of life at the time, and wishing to attract mass travel by the new Railways .
Old Bridlington is steeped in history and the old village is inland and was clustered in the form of narrow streets around the Augustinian Priory which was founded in 1113 ad .
The impression given by the Railway advertising posters is however one of sparkling seas , fashion and golden sands .
