When blocks of colour replace the detail,it shows commercial art at its best and most eye catching .

The artist has broken with his traditional style for this poster and traditional blue skies and clouds are replaced with a yellow dustsheet setting off the red and pink buildings beautifully .Interest is brought to the forefront by the Yorkshire Cobles plying to and fro through the harbour entrance.

This poster is probably from early to mid 1930’s
