This is a 1950’s Poster of the Cathedral pictured from St Werburgh Street.

A good deal of the land around Chester is owned by the Duke of Westminster whose family name is Grosvenor, which explains the Grosvenor Hotel , Grosvenor Park and Grosvenor bridge in the City.
