Cleethorpes

This wonderfully evocative poster was issued in 1941 during World War 2 and one of the two athletic men is sporting an RAF hat .

Very little is known about the artist and only one of his works is in the National Collection. This is a great shame as the composition , colours and impression makes this one of the great seaside railway posters.
