Crewe is perhaps best known now for its railway junction , however in it’s Heyday , it was the home of one of Britain’s most famous Locomotive Works.
This 1937 LMS Poster was produced by the artist who was born in Austria but who eventually fled from Germany to avoid a commission from Herman Goring , glorifying the Third Reich. She fled initially to Denmark, then England and eventually moved to the USA.
