This is a 1953 BR ( LMR ) poster of one of the most beautiful parts of the Peak District National Park .

The river Wye has cut a deep gorge through the limestone rocks and green lushness carpets the valley floor . The clear water and bright sunshine make for an idyllic spot . The are numerous sets of stepping stones to help visitors cross the river.
