Sadly , the clarity and crispness of this poster is not as high as we would like because the quality of the original we had to work was less than wonderful .It is still a lovely poster though, and the reduction in "sharpness" is reflected in the reduced price.

Derbyshire Dales

This is the 1950’s version of the 1930’s poster by the same artist and although the world had changed considerably in those intervening years , his artwork was still very valid and still encouraged people to visit the area . By this time, the railways had been coordinated so this poster was commissioned by British Railways and is sadly one of the last commissioned by artists before the introduction of photography into railway advertising posters
