Saltash Bridge
This is one of the great railway posters , commissioned in 1931 by GWR. It portrays the famous Isambard Kingdom Brunel Royal Albert Bridge built in 1859, which crosses the River Tamer and links Devon and Cornwall. The view is from the Devon side looking toward Cornwall. There are seven approach supports on the Devon side and ten in Cornwall .It was built as single track because of financial constraints , but opens out into twin tracks near the station.
