Dover
Dover Castle has been described as “ The Key to Britain “ because of the importance of the right of ownership. Dover’s community was established long before the Romans arrived and was situated at the mouth of the river Dour. The river suffered from silting, so the harbour was enlarged and breakwaters built as a solution to stem these problems.
