The Castle, Waverley Station , Princes Street and central Edinburgh are captured here in a 1934 Joint LNER/LMS poster.

The view is looking west from one of the uppermost rooms in the North British Railway Hotel and has changed little in the past 90 odd years . The exception of course is the volume of traffic !
