Felixstowe
LNER had something of a vested interest in promoting Felixstowe, as their predecessors ( Great Eastern Railways )had bought the famous Felix hotel on the headland ( it can be seen on the cliff in the background ) from the Tollemache family in 1920 for a huge sum of money , and LNER took it on after the railway consolidation.
This is one of the many 1930’s posters promoting this destination.
