Scotland for your Holidays
This is an exceptionally detailed and stunning early 1950's BR Railway poster.
It ranks amongst the Artist's finest work and indeed amongst all Poster Art.

It was constructed between 1882 and 1890 ,took an army of up to 4000 support staff and workers to build it and tragically, 57 men lost their lives during its construction .It was designed to withstand very strong winds as it was this which had caused the collapse of the Tay Bridge in 1879.
