This is a classic piece of LNER Poster art from 1927 .

The artist was a master at welding fashion and town scenes , as his masterpieces for Bridlington show elsewhere in the series .

Sadly , the theatre in this image , at the entrance to Wellington Pier ,has long since been demolished .
