The Market Place

This scene is actually of Richmond in North Yorkshire but the artwork was used to advertise market days shopping trips for Brecon , Gloucester and Shrewsbury as well as Hereford . British Railways developed a campaign to promote cheap travel in off peak times so these posters would have been displayed in stations all over Britain
