The Irish Mails
This is a fabulous and classic 1930 LMS Poster of the Mail Train to Ireland which crossed the Menai Straights between Anglesey and the Welsh Mainland.
There are two bridges over the straights , the suspension bridge carrying the A5 Roadway , and what was originally the Tubular Bridge , ( see poster number 64149 ) now replaced by the present structure , carrying the railway and the A55 Roadway above it.
