This is a very unusual example of railway poster art from 1950.

The Manx cat ( distinctive because it has no tail ) would certainly have stopped passengers and made them look . They are peculiar to the Island and , as with the three legged symbol – the triskelion, are a natural to incorporate into Island promotional material .
