Liverpool’s awe inspiring Anglican Cathedral, built between 1904 and 1978 is portrayed for the LMS in this poster from about 1946.

At 620 ft Long , built in Red Sandstone ,it is second longest in the World after St Peters in Rome , and dominates Liverpool’s Skyline .
