There were a huge number of trains arriving in the Town during the peak years especially on Saturdays from the industrial towns of the north west.
In addition ,this early 1930’s LMS Poster depicts the Steamer departing for Liverpool taking the day trippers back home.
The town lies on an isthmus between the Great Orme and mainland Caernarvonshire
