Waterloo Station in Peacetime
In 1947 , Southern Railways commissioned this artist to paint two images of the station , one in wartime and one in peacetime to mark the Centenary of the first station on this site.
In 1967 , another version of this scene was painted from a very similar vantage point by Terence Cuneo.
