This is an unsigned poster from the 1920’s advertising Lowestoft , not for its seaside location, its fishing or its beaches , but for Golf !

Maybe the marketing department already had some idea of the depletion of North Sea fish stocks and were already anticipating the change in the type of visitor to the port ? It is a great pity the artist is not known as this is a fine and striking image
