Sadly , the clarity and crispness of this poster is not as high as we would like because the quality of the original we had to work was less than wonderful . It is still a lovely poster though, and it's lack of sharpness is reflected in the reduced price.

Matlock , like so many other English Spa Towns became famous and popular because of the mineral springs and hence the claim in it’s advertisements

to being the “ Metropolis of Hydrotherapy “

Needless to say , even with it’s dramatic location in between high cliffs , there is just an element of exaggeration in its claim to be comparable to Switzerland !
