Night Train to Scotland
This very rare and exceptional poster was a joint LMS / LNER commission in 1932.
The Artist’s family fled Tsarist Russia and settled in London prior to WW1, and at the age of 13 the Artist won a scholarship to St Martin’s School of Art.
Most of his posters were done during WW2 as propaganda, and this work is very unusual for him . An original in less than perfect condition sold at Auction in New York in October 2014 for $20,000 !
