Greenwood Signal Box , New Barnet

This is an early Poster by Cuneo for BR as his “ signature mouse “ is not present. It is believed that he was allowed to paint whilst inside the box while the signalman was busy working . The signalbox was located about 10 miles north of Kings Cross Station and this A4 engine is seen working hard to pull the express up the gradient there.
