This is a 1920’s promotional poster for Perth with the river Tay winding its way eastwards towards the sea . The city was and old Roman settlement founded in the first century and today is the heart of the surrounding farming communities . It is the home of the National Heather Collection where over 900 varieities can be seen at the Cherrybank Gardens to the west of the City .
