This is a joint GWR / SR poster of Plymouth Hoe and depicts a semi aerial view of the Hoe and the Lido, Drake’s Island and the mouth of the River Tamar. One of the Royal Navy’s battleships , either HMS Rodney or HMS Nelson is shown heading up river to their base at Devonport.
