Redcar
This is a 1958 ( BR- NER ) Poster of Redcar’s Seafront . The town was initially in the North Riding of Yorkshire but is now in Teesside . In 1850 , when iron ore was found in the nearby Cleveland Hills both Middlesbrough and Redcar grew rapidly, and the size of the sea defences protecting the town can be seen in this work .
