This is a very " remarkably " coloured LNER poster from the1920's of the Cathedral and river at Ripon in Yorkshire.

Unusually , the artist chose the river Ure as his main focus with the misty religious silhouette in the background. The artist did not produce many national railway posters but most of his work was commissioned for London Transport.
