Ross- on- Wye
This is a 1935 GWR poster of the town . The Railways arrived here in1855 and soon displaced the river as the main means of transporting goods . The town enjoyed a second lease of life as a tourist centre , once the station was completed. The Artist has really captured the peaceful and tranquil nature of the town , with masterful reflections on the river surface.
