This is a beautifully evocative 1925 LNER Poster of what was then a most fashionable area.

The colouring and composition of this poster rank it amongst the best works of this fine artist and right up there with the best railway posters of all time. There were many attractions at the time including the pier and the Valley Gardens .

The famous Zetland hotel stands prominently above the cliffs and is now a restored apartment complex.
