Saltburn
This is a 1925 LNER Poster of Saltburn with the image having the unusual perspective of being taken from underneath the Pier.
The wide flat beach at Saltburn gave Malcolm Campbell a chance to set a world land speed record there in 1922 in the first " Bluebird "
The Zetland Hotel was one of the worlds’ first purpose built railway hotels and in its heyday , was THE pl ace to stay, and had it's own railway platform .
