Saltburn by the Sea
The red beach huts and the Cliff Railway are highlighted in this classic 1923 LNER Poster of Saltburn.
It was always an elegant place in Victorian times so the dress codes shown here were typical for the period. The Pease family marked their presence and vision in the area , because all over the town are houses constructed with ” Pease Bricks” . The family name is cast into each brick itself !
