Scarborough - The Spa

This is a classic Scarborough Poster from 1939, of the famous spa town.

LNER issued this poster ahead of the breakout of war in a final effort to promote tourism and fill their trains.

The Town has always been at the forefront of tourism and promotion and even by 1939 had issued small books about how to get there and listing all the amenities and attractions.
