This is a magnificent, unusual and classic 1932 Poster for the Scotland Sleeper Service.

The LNER publicity office focused on the speed and comfort of its long distance expresses and their restaurant cars and customer support were far better than the opposition . They tried to stress the enjoyment of the journey and had developed the A3 class of locomotive of which of course , the Flying Scotsman is the most famous ,to increase the speed and reduce the journey time .
