Skegness

This Iconic Poster is the first update of John Hassall’s famous 1908 “ Jolly Fisherman" , and was made by Hassall himself in 1930. It is believed that despite portraying it so well , Hassell never actually went to Skegness himself .

It was re issued many times and in many guises after that, and has become totally synonymous with Skegness.
