This Iconic Poster is the 2 ^nd ( 1933 ) update of John Hassall’s famous “ Jolly Fisherman “ of 1908.

In the first 1930 update ,by Hassall himself, he had already added more colour to the 1908 original , and here it has been updated yet again by Frank Newbould , the master of poster art , by the addition of a new dimension – Children .
