This is an outstanding 1932 Southport Corporation / LMS Poster. It shows well - dressed theatre-goers leaving the Garrick Theatre.

In the days of real glamour and Art Deco imagery , Southport was Buzzing !

The Lady portrayed in the Orange Dress and Fur Wrap was allegedly , the Mistress of the Painter- Fortunino Chevalier Matania ( 1881 – 1963 )

Originals of this Poster are very rare and one is thought to hold the World Record Price at Auction,-something in excess of £35,000 !
