Southport – Pavement Café

This is a rare 1957 Poster of people socialising near the bandstand.

Napoleon 3rd lived in Southport for five years until 1851, and when he returned to France to become Emperor , much of the centre of Paris was laid out with wide , tree lined Boulevards – possibly inspired by Southport .
