With around 12 Golf Courses in the Southport area , and it’s mild climate , this poster was an obvious way to attempt to attract visitors to the Town.

It is British Rail advertising from 1954 and , whilst obviously “ of it’s time “it somehow does not capture the “ spirit “ of the art posters of the past.
