St Ives to Land’s End

This is a very unusual 1937 GWR Poster encouraging customers in the interwar years to travel south .

The artist has used only about 5 basic colours and considerable imagination to be able to put the coastline into perspective from that imagined height . He is rightly considered to be one of the finest artists to have been associated with the St Ives art colony.
