Barmouth
Barmouth bridge was opened in 1867 and was originally made of wood.
Near the Barmouth end there was a drawbridge section which allowed the passage of tall- masted ships. This was rebuilt in 1901 as a steel swing bridge with twin spans.
This is a 1956 BR poster produced as part of their marketing campaign to the area.
