After 1923 , LMS stepped up several gears in their advertising and GWR were quite content to “ Bumble along “ as their passenger loadings where higher than all except Southern Railways , and their freight business was also good so there was no real need to pour a lot of money into promotional work .

LMS however then produced some excellent posters , of which , this is one .
