This is a Poster Classic. It depicts a magical Yorkshire coast near Whitby encompassing all the excitement of nearing the holiday destination.

The colouring is very distinctive and not what you might expect from a " conventional artist" , but this was the skill that Frank Mason brought to poster art - he made people look up and take note - exactly what he was asked ( and paid ) to do ! It was issued by LNER in 1937.
