Yorkshire Moors
This is a famous 1930 Poster commissioned by LNER, in which the artist even invented his own logo for them - which they did indeed use for a time !
His bold style and use of colour , whilst devoid of detail , still has a vibrancy about it .
The artist was amongst the “ Big Five “ used by the railway companies to promote their lines and destinations .
